Project 1454 Heading.png

Project 1454 is our church’s response to a 40-year legacy of faith—a commitment to create gospel-centered, excellent, and welcoming spaces for discipling children, students, and adults so we can reach, disciple, and launch the next generation into lifelong faith in Jesus Christ. Just as our church family stepped out in faith in 1986, we are stepping out now—believing, building, for the sake of those to come.

What is Project 1454?

A Generational Mission

Core Goals:

  • Modernize and upgrade children’s and student ministry environments

  • Create safe, welcoming, and ministry-ready spaces for kids, teens, and adults

  • Equip volunteers to disciple with joy and excellence

  • Help reach new families in our community

  • Honor our past while preparing for our future

Children's Classroom.jpg

Children's Classrooms

The current spaces in the lower and upper levels of the Educational Wing require significant improvements to meet the current and increasing needs of the church and its community. The lower level should become a space completely dedicated to the growing Children and Student ministries, with age appropriate classrooms for students ages Pre-K through 12th grade, appropriate storage for these ministries, and fully functioning bathrooms.

Highlights:

  • 1 Pre-K room

  • 1 Lower Elementary room

  • 1 Upper Elementary room

  • Each with updated and appropriate technology and furniture

Student Room

Before considering future growth of the student group, the current group has outgrown their current space downstairs. Project 1454 would seek to create a larger space for the teens to gather with space for worship, games, small groups, and more. To accomplish this, we will be taking out a wall between two rooms to create a larger gathering space for the teens.

Bathrooms/Storage

All pluming throughout the church needs to be updated from the failing Quest pipes. Toilets and sinks need to be updated to prepare for the increased use of the space.

The current decoration room will be transformed into a storage space for all children/student materials. This space will also be used to help prep and stage for special events such as block parties, VSB, teen camp, and more.
