Our faith is based on the person and work of Jesus Christ; and the Bible is where the history of salvation and Christ’s teachings are found. The Bible is God’s Word and provides us with all that is necessary for faith. Therefore, we look to the Bible for wisdom, understanding, guidance, and truth.

We believe that there is only one living and true God. In the unity of the Godhead are three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are one in eternity, deity, and purpose; everlasting, of infinite power, wisdom, and goodness.

We believe the Bible is God’s written Word, uniquely inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is the trustworthy record of God’s revelation, completely truthful in all it affirms. Through the Holy Spirit, it continues to speak through this Word to each generation and culture.
The Bible has authority over all human life, teaching the way of salvation through Jesus Christ.
We believe that people are created in the image of God. Yet humans were corrupted in their very nature from birth and are inclined to sin. In this condition, people are not able by their own strength and work to restore themselves in right relationship with God to attain eternal salvation.

We believe that through Christ’s perfect sacrifice on the cross for the sins of this world, forgiveness is offered to all human beings. Through repentance of sin and acceptance of this sacrifice, individuals receive new life and a right relationship with God.

We believe the Church is created by God and is made up of the people of God. Christ is her Lord and Head and the Holy Spirit is her life and power.
The church is a fellowship of believers, preaching the Word of God and administering the sacraments (the Lord’ s Supper and baptism) according to Christ’s instruction.
